Hello Neighbors,

WHAT:  Washingtonian Woods End of Summer Raft Party & Dive-In Movie
WHEN:  Saturday, August 24th, 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
WHERE: Pool

The Washingtonian Woods Social Committee invites you to our annual end of summer event! Come enjoy the Sun and Fun. Music will be playing. Bring your pool floats! Celebrate the end of summer before the kids head back to school. Coolers are permitted (no glass), and rafts/pool floats will also be allowed for the duration of the party.

Once the sun goes down, we will be showing “Despicable Me 4” on the big movie screen which will be viewable from the pool or the deck. Feel free to float on your rafts and enjoy the show!

Schedule of Events
5:00pm – 6:00pm: Jersey Mikes’s Subs and Salad served
7:00pm: Ice Cream served
Approx 8:15pm (lighting permitted): Despicable Me 4 will play with viewing from the pool or deck.

Volunteers Needed
Volunteers needed for Set Up, Serving of Subs, Dessert and Clean Up!

Kindergarten Meet Up
WHO: Rising Kindergarteners (regardless of what school you will go to)
WHEN: Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00pm
WHERE: the tot lot on Upshire & Driscoll Way (unless Pleasant View Park is open by then, if so we will meet there!)

Calling all rising kindergartners!!

The Washingtonian Woods Social Committee will be hosting a kid meet up/play date for all the kids in the neighborhood that will be entering kindergarten in the fall.

Come on out and meet other families with kids the same age and give our kiddos a chance to meet more kids their age. And if they are going to the same school, they will meet one more friendly face that they will see in the halls. Some of us also have older kids and are happy to answer any questions you might have.

WHERE: Clubhouse

Instead of a coffee morning, this fall we will welcome new neighbors with and evening event/open house.
